The Lord is King Forever

God Himself has created the earth, seas and every living creature.
He has created the entire universe and everything in it.
That’s why He is King over every ruler and authority. 

Nations rise and fall. Kings, emperors, presidents, representatives and judges are mere men whose lives span only 70 or so years on average.
But God’s government does not end–His rule and His reign are eternal.
As surely as God lives, He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness.

The Lord Himself is a shelter for the oppressed and a place of safety in difficult and troublesome times.
It makes perfect sense that those who really know Him–trust Him!
He does not reject or abandon those who search for Him.

On the other hand, the wicked are too proud to seek God.
They seem to think that God is dead because they have success.
They don’t see His just punishment awaiting them and think that nothing bad will ever happen to them.

The Lord is king forever
